05How I work
Four rules that survived contact with production.
Each one comes out of a specific build on this site, not a checklist.
- 01
One component set, many surfaces
Marketing pages and product flows have different needs but should not need different code. I build the shared set first, then specialise.

Density is a design problem
Operational screens carry a lot at once. Readability under load is the requirement, not a nice-to-have added at the end.

Server state is not UI state
Caching, invalidation and routing belong in their own layer. Keeping them separate is what stops an app from getting tangled as it grows.

Motion on a performance budget
Choreography should never block the first paint. Transform and opacity only, orchestrated on a timeline you can reason about.
